Amber worked on the Design Development and Construction Document phases of the Museum of Image and Sound in Rio de Janeiro, a project by DS+R. She was responsible for coordinating with MEP and lighting consultants to produce a fully integrated drawing set for the interior.
The Museum of Image and Sound is located at the beach front of the Copacabana Beach with specula views of both the natural landscape and urban surroundings. . The exhibits span five floors and celebrate Rio’s rich cultural heritage in music and film. The architecture takes the visitor through a journey of vertical circulation sequence, weaving between indoor exhibits and outdoor vistas; a rooftop cinema and bar serves as the finale that immerses visitors in the vibrant spirit of the city.
